​Purity Kendi Gikundi is a dynamic and mission-driven professional dedicated to advancing community well-being through service, development and education. Her academic journey at Egerton University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Kiswahili, has equipped her with a profound appreciation for cultural narratives and the power of human connection. This foundation allows her to approach development with a unique blend of historical perspective and empathetic communication.

​Purity’s commitment to community service was forged during her impactful volunteer work at the Somec Wellness Centre. This experience solidified her passion and provided a platform to apply her skills in a real-world setting. Currently, as a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Kenya she is expanding her expertise in transformative methodologies such as Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Community-Led Development (CLD).

Her professional ethos is rooted in the belief that true progress is achieved when communities are empowered to lead their own change, with a focus on teaching and skills transfer. Purity is an emerging leader whose career is a testament to the idea that meaningful work is a blend of passionate purpose and practical application.
