Biography
MUKAGACINYA Drocella is a passionate and dedicated young professional in the field of Agricultural Mechanization. Born and raised in Rwanda, she has always been driven by a strong interest in agriculture and community development, with a vision of transforming rural livelihoods through innovative and practical solutions.
She pursued her higher education at the University of Rwanda from 2021 to 2025, specializing in Agricultural Mechanization. Having successfully completed all academic modules, she is awaiting graduation. Her studies have provided her with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in agricultural technologies, equipping her with the skills to design and promote mechanized solutions that are locally adaptable and beneficial to farmers.
Drocella’s early education began at GS Byumba EAR Primary School, followed by her secondary studies at G.S BYUMBA INYANGE and later G.S.N.D.B.C BYUMBA, where she majored in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). This strong academic foundation prepared her to pursue engineering-related fields with confidence.
Alongside her academic journey, she gained practical experience through internships, including with QUATRAS Ltd (2023) and Alpha Milk Company Limited (2025). She also demonstrated her commitment to service by volunteering as a youth volunteer in Byumba sector, Gicumbi district (2019), and on 6th September 2025 she becomes a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
These experiences deepened her problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and adaptability in professional and community contexts. Beyond her professional path, she enjoys engaging in conversations with people and listening to music activities that reflect her open-mindedness and passion for connecting with others. With a strong belief in the power of agricultural technology to drive food security and rural transformation, MUKAGACINYA Drocella aspires to use her expertise to empower farmers, reduce labor burdens, and contribute to sustainable development in Rwanda and beyond.
