Biography
Kwizera Mugisha Frorentine was born and raised in Rwanda, where she developed a deep appreciation for land and the role it plays in sustaining communities. Inspired by this connection she pursued her studies in agriculture with a specialization in Soil Science at University of Rwanda, where he built strong technical knowledge in sustainable land management and farming systems.
To complement her studies, she worked as a professional intern with the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Board (RAB) for six months. During this time, she gained practical experience in agricultural research and fieldwork, supporting farmers to adopt improved practices that strengthen food security and community resilience. In addition to her agricultural background, Frorentine dedicated three months as a volunteer teacher of mathematics for S1 and S2 classes at GS Kigeme B. This experience allowed him to inspire and mentor young learners, while also developing her communication and leadership skills. Her ability to combine technical expertise with teaching and service demonstrates his commitment to empowering others through knowledge sharing.
Frorentine is motivated to serve rural communities and apply her skills to promote sustainable agriculture, quality education and community led development. She is especially passionate about advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of zero hunger, education and environmental protection. She is very excited to serve as a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer in Huye District, where she is looking forward to collaborating with communities, co-creating innovative solutions and contributing to lasting change. With humility, resilience and a spirit of service, she looks forward to learning from others, embracing new cultures and making a meaningful impact.
