Biography
Aimée Mireille Gihozo Ishimwe is a dedicated young professional with a strong background in agriculture. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanization Technology from Rwanda Polytechnic Gishari College. She completed several academic internships that enhanced her technical knowledge and earned more experience.
In 2024, she worked for five months with One Acre Fund in Gabiro, where she gained practical experience in agricultural, farmer support, and community engagement. These opportunities shaped her into a motivated and adaptable professional who values hard work, integrity, and service to others. She is passionate about agriculture and animal husbandry, and about engaging in creative activities such as weaving, baking, her motivation comes from a desire to empower communities through creating opportunities for others to learn, work and thrive.
She aims to become a successful farmer, organic fertilizer producer and a baker who contributes to Rwanda’s agricultural transformation and inspires young people to engage in agricultural activities and other creative activities for sustainable development. She is proud to contribute sustainable development through her vision and is excited to continue her journey of serving and empowering others.
