Biography

Esther Ingabire is a dedicated social worker passionate about advocating for vulnerable communities and promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and sustainable development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Catholic University of Rwanda.

She gained professional experience with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as a Better Life & Gender Inclusion Assistant, supporting rural women’s empowerment, project coordination, and emergency response. Previously, she volunteered with Kwizera Charity Foundation and interned at Kacyiru Sector, where she strengthened her skills in community outreach, mentorship, and research on psychosocial impact of poverty on children.

Beyond her professional roles, Esther participated in the National Itorero Program and contributed to the Generation 25 Project with Mashirika Performing Arts & Media, using theatre to amplify the voices of children born after Genocide. Esther is strongly and proudly committed to promoting equality, fostering social inclusion, and advancing social justice. With her skills and experience, she strives to create lasting impact through community empowerment and sustainable development.
