Biography

Irumva Valence was born and raised in Karongi District, Rwanda. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Renewable Energy Technology from RP Tumba College of Technology. During his academic journey, he actively served as an advisor in the Students’ Union, where he gained valuable leadership experience in supporting and guiding his peers. Alongside his academic journey, he completed certified training with Prince’s Trust International, a global NGO that equips young people with employability, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving skills. This experience sharpened his professionalism, creativity, and ability to work with communities to design sustainable solutions.

Currently, Irumva proudly serves as a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer where he works closely with rural households to identify needs and co create projects that reduce poverty, strengthen resilience, and improve community livelihoods.

Guided by empathy, humility, and a strong passion for youth empowerment, Irumva is dedicated to contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the areas of affordable clean water, poverty reduction, and community development. He is committed to making a lasting impact through service, cultural exchange, and the empowerment of underprivileged communities.
