Biography
Grace Namathaka is a dedicated and results-driven Finance Officer with over six years of progressive experience in financial management within both local and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs). My expertise spans across core financial operations, compliance, and donor reporting—particularly in projects funded by major international agencies such as USAID and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rockefeller and Malawi Ministry of Health.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Accounting, Auditing and information systems (BAAAIS) at Malawi College of Accountancy. Grace is also a Certified Accounting Technician and completed ACCA skills module 2 at Malawi College of Accountancy and is currently pursuing ACCA. She also has ACCA Certificate in Audit and ACCA Certificate in Financial Management.
Grace worked with Ecobank Malawi, St John Ambulance Malawi (funded projects by Scottish government) and Christian Health Association of Malawi (funded projects by USAID and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rockefeller and Ministry of Health of Malawi) before joining Corpsafrica. Throughout her career, Grace plays a critical role in ensuring financial accountability, transparency, and efficiency across various development programs focused on health, education, and community development. With a strong grasp of GAAP principles, donor compliance regulations, and internal control systems, Grace will consistently support Corpsafrica in achieving clean audits and maintaining the integrity of grant funds. Grace is skilled in budget preparation, expenditure tracking, bank reconciliations, payroll management, and financial reporting. She has a proven ability to manage multi-currency transactions and complex financial systems, often working with cross-functional teams across borders to ensure smooth financial operations. With a deep commitment to ethical financial stewardship and capacity building, Grace continues to contribute meaningfully to Corpsafrica mission-, helping Corpsafrica to maximize impact through sound financial practices and she is also passionate about promoting youth leadership and participatory community development.
