Biography
Janet Mutesi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Kigali and is a self-motivated, adaptable finance professional with expertise in accounting, financial management, and warehouse operations. She gained valuable experience at Wasoko, serving as a Finance Intern and later as a Hub Accountant, where she successfully managed reconciliations, stock controls, invoice processing, and supplier payments. Her strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills have enabled her to thrive in dynamic professional environments.
Alongside her career, Janet is currently serving as a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer, where she dedicates her time and skills to supporting communities and empowering individuals. Her volunteer work reflects her passion for service, integrity, and teamwork, as she actively contributes to initiatives that promote financial literacy, community development, and poverty reduction.
Janet is inspired to create positive change by combining her professional expertise with her commitment to volunteerism. She is particularly motivated to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering accountability, efficiency, and inclusivity in both organisational and community settings.
