Biography

Jean Bosco Nshimiyimana is an Agribusiness graduate from the University of Rwanda, specializing in Rural Development and Agricultural Economics. He has hands-on experience in field research, soil and crop analysis, and agricultural extension services, contributing to projects such as the OATH Project and PhD research across Huye, Nyagatare, and Bugesera. He currently serves as a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Rwanda in Gisagara District, supporting participatory development projects and empowering local communities.

Jean Bosco has been recognized with awards from Feed the Future and Hangakazi for his dedication to agriculture and rural development. Trained in Community-Led Development (CLD), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Human-Centered Design (HCD), he applies tools such as the Innovator’s Compass, 2×2 Matrix, and Community Mindset Changer to drive sustainable and inclusive community initiatives. He is passionate about agricultural transformation and rural empowerment, combining technical expertise with leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement skills.
