Biography
Abdul-Fatawu Salifu is a dedicated young advocate from Tamale, Northern Ghana. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies and specializes in promoting the welfare of vulnerable populations, particularly young people, women, and children.
He has spearheaded numerous community development initiatives that prioritize the health of women, adolescent girls, adolescent boys, and young women, foster agricultural innovation, and drive economic empowerment in underserved communities. With over seven years of experience in transformative youth leadership, Abdul-Fatawu has made significant contributions to the health of marginalized populations at both national and international levels.
Abdul-Fatawu works as a Technical Consultant with UNAIDS TSM, advancing community-led interventions. He also serves as an Alternate Board Member on the Executive Board of Unitaid, advocating for health solutions shaped by the unique perspectives of people in low- and middle-income countries.
As a changemaker with the International AIDS Society, Abdul-Fatawu inspires young people globally to take charge of their health by sharing his experiences and leadership journey.
Driven by a passion for instilling hope, Abdul-Fatawu joined CorpsAfrica/Ghana to catalyze development and empower communities. He leverages his diverse experience and dedication to foster positive societal change.
