Biography

Abdul-Majeed Abdulai is from Yendi in the Northern Region of Ghana. He is passionate about service, education, and community-driven development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Economics from the University for Development Studies, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division. His academic research focused on the impact of fiscal policy on inflation in Ghana, strengthening his analytical and problem-solving skills.

Abdul-Majeed served as a Fellow and Alumni Teacher with Lead For Ghana, where he worked to improve educational outcomes and inspire young learners. He also held the role of NASPA Vice President in the Savelugu District, leading initiatives to support national service personnel and foster community engagement. These leadership experiences enhanced his skills in teamwork, advocacy, and project coordination, while reinforcing his commitment to empowering others.

As a CorpsAfrica/Ghana Volunteer, Abdul-Majeed is excited to immerse himself in rural life, build strong community relationships, and co-create sustainable solutions that reflect the aspirations of the people he serves. He is motivated by the belief that development is most impactful when led by communities themselves.
