Biography

Gafaru Aminu is a young development professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from the University for Development Studies. He has extensive experience in community and youth development. As a youth leader, advocate, and social inclusion enthusiast, he dedicates much of his time to interventions that promote inclusive development.

As an avid volunteer, he enjoys offering community service to people both collectively and individually. Whether teaching students, mentoring young people, or joining campaigns that promote social justice, he is always eager to contribute. He remains open to new experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking.

Over the years, Gafaru has volunteered with several NGOs, including the Center for Development and Policy Advocacy (CEDEPA), Water-Lily Foundation, Northern Regional Youth Network (NRYN), and Activista Ghana.

He sees himself as a global citizen and, as an aspiring global development expert, views CorpsAfrica’s approach to development as a pathway not only to facilitate community transformation in rural Ghana but also to advance his personal and professional growth.
