Biography
Hadijah Imoro is from Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana. She is a Mastercard Foundation Scholar alumna and a proud member of the Camfed Association. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University for Development Studies. Hadijah is deeply passionate about education and community development, with a strong commitment to using her knowledge and skills to create lasting impact.
As a development advocate, she served as an Associate at Lead For Ghana, where she taught Chemistry and worked closely with students to improve their academic performance. During her fellowship, she developed strong leadership, instructional design, and project management skills while fostering both academic and personal growth among her students. Beyond the classroom, she co-led initiatives to enhance learning resources and supported efforts to build student confidence and resilience.
Hadijah believes that serving with CorpsAfrica will provide her with the opportunity to further her passion for community development, women’s empowerment, and social inclusion. She is excited to collaborate with communities, listen to their needs, and co-create sustainable solutions that can transform lives.
