Biography
Sarah Essiedu is an enthusiastic and dedicated hospitality professional from Cape Coast, Ghana, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Cape Coast.
Throughout her academic journey, she developed expertise in hospitality operations, food and beverage management, nutrition, and strategic leadership, while actively engaging in research on sanitation and food service practices.
She has gained strong customer service, administrative, and managerial skills throughout her professional career. As an Academic Liaison and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Cape Coast, she supported academic delivery, organized tutorials, and mentored students—demonstrating her leadership and teamwork abilities.
Beyond academics and work, Sarah is deeply committed to community service. She has volunteered as a learner guide, peer tutor, and mentor, designing lessons, guiding young students, and supporting initiatives in child protection, education, and women’s empowerment.
A proud Camfed Association member, a MasterCard Foundation Scholarship recipient, and a Harvard-certified participant in Community Health Programs, Sarah is a model of resilience, service, and leadership. She aspires to build a career in hospitality and nutrition while contributing meaningfully to community development and professional excellence.
