Biography
Mukamana Elinatha is a dedicated agricultural professional and community development enthusiast with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Rwanda. With over six years of hands-on experience in farming and agricultural extension, she has built strong expertise in farmer training, data-driven agricultural practices, and community outreach.
Elinatha has worked with various organizations, including Hingamafaranga Rwanda as executive secretary and co-founder, Ae Trade group as digital trade advisor, and the University of Rwanda’s Societal University Village Initiative, where she championed projects aimed at improving farming techniques, reducing post-harvest losses, and empowering local farmers with knowledge on best practices. Her leadership roles have also extended to co-founding YADEM Rwanda Ltd, an initiative promoting mushroom production and nutrition focused entrepreneurship among youth and women. Passionate about rural transformation, she has successfully mobilized and trained farmers, conducted radio programs reaching thousands of listeners (Energy radio 88.8FM), and facilitated projects that connect farmers with markets and improved seed varieties. Elinatha’s work reflects her strong belief in sustainable agriculture as a tool for fighting poverty and malnutrition.
As a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Elinatha is committed to applying her skills in agriculture, data analysis, and community engagement to design and implement locally-driven solutions that address pressing challenges in rural Rwanda. Her vision is to empower communities, especially women and youth, to build resilience and achieve sustainable development
