Biography

Jeannine Mukahaguma was born and raised in Rwanda, where she developed a deep appreciation for her country’s culture and communities. She holds a degree in Tourism Destination Management from RP Kitabi, where she excelled in her studies. Passionate about community engagement and development, Jeannine has actively participated in volunteer initiatives, including serving as secretary of her college language club for two years. During this time, she facilitated outreach programs designed to empower youth through communication and storytelling, earning recognition for her creativity and leadership.

Jeannine recently began her service with CorpsAfrica in Ngororero District, Kageyo Sector, Nyamata Cell, at the site of Kibanda, where she applies her skills to support local development initiatives. She is deeply motivated by a vision of sustainable growth, societal progress, and the ideals of Pan-Africanism, believing in the unity and collaborative advancement of communities across Rwanda and the African continent. She strives to leave a lasting, positive legacy for future generations, approaching her work with creativity, resilience, and a passion for transformative change.
