Biography

Naffisatou Kalley is a dedicated CorpsAfrica Volunteer and a 2024 graduate of the University of The Gambia, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Throughout her academic journey, she demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to student welfare by serving as the Welfare and Culture Minister at the School of Arts and Sciences (SoSHA). In this role, she actively supported student engagement, cultural activities, and inclusive participation within the university community.

Beyond campus leadership, Naffisatou has practical experience in education and public health. She taught for two years at ABC Senior Secondary School, where she contributed to students’ academic development and personal growth. She also worked with the Malaria Control Program as a data collector, supporting efforts to improve health outcomes through accurate data and community-level engagement.

Naffisatou’s leadership journey began early. During her secondary school years, she was among the best-performing students and actively participated in extracurricular activities, serving as the Information and Public Relations Officer (IPRO) of the French Club. Her passion lies in working closely with people, particularly women and youth, to promote empowerment and positive social change.

In her personal time, Naffisatou enjoys watching television, cooking, and dancing. Known for her strong communication and interpersonal skills, she is committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact in Masembeh Community by sharing her knowledge, skills, and dedication as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer.
