Biography


Goretti Mukasekuru holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development from the College of Agriculture, Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine in the University of Rwanda. She has demonstrated strong leadership and commitment to service throughout her academic journey, serving as a hygiene leader in high school and as a mother (mummy) of 36 children in student association, where she fostered unity and mentorship. She also served as the accountant of a student saving group called Super Generation, managing contributions and safeguarding funds. Goretti’s professional experience includes an internship at AEE Rwanda, where she participated in community development and poverty graduation programs, gaining practical insight into sustainable development.

She is deeply passionate about serving rural communities, promoting agriculture, and contributing to poverty reduction. Currently serving as a CorpsAfrica Volunteer, Goretti is honored to contribute to the success of community development efforts, particularly in poverty eradication, quality education, and community empowerment. She is excited to begin this journey of service, where she hopes to learn, share, and create lasting impact in the communities she works with.
