Biography

Mireille Niyigena holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kigali. She is motivated to serve in rural communities and make a positive impact on the locals. She believes in the potential of the youth to be powerful change-makers and works tirelessly to ensure they are engaged and supported within their communities.

Her dedication to promoting youth within her community though inspiring them to form a saving group so that they can overcome poverty. She is passionate about encouraging youth to acknowledge the importance of starting with small capital for business so that they can achieve economic independence.
Mireille is proud to contribute to the success of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mainly through promoting literacy, facilitating the locals to graduate from poverty in her local community. She is very excited to experience this amazing journey serving a community in Gicumbi district as she adores connecting new communities, her compassion, resilience, and forward-thinking mindset continue to inspire those around her to take action and build a better future.
