Biography
Regis Niyomufasha holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics with a focus on Demography from the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics. During his studies, he researched how population growth affects Rwanda’s economy and built strong skills in data analysis and problem-solving. He also joined the Bridge Program at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, where he gained practical skills in innovation, technology, and leadership.
Regis is passionate about helping rural communities and creating opportunities for young people and farmers. He works with communities using Human-Centered Design (HCD), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Community Led Development (CLD) methods. His goal is to support people in finding their own solutions, working together, and building projects that last. Regis wants to use his education and skills to reduce poverty, grow leadership, and bring positive change to people’s lives.
