Biography

Rose Mary Nyiraturatsinze holds a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology. She has served as Secretary of Rwanda Youth Volunteers in Community Policing in Nyankenke Sector, Gicumbi District, and also took on the responsibility of overseeing discipline among youth volunteers at the College of Science and Technology. She has further contributed as an advisor to student networks in biotechnology, where she encouraged young people to embrace science and innovation as tools for solving community challenges.

Her leadership journey reflects her strong commitment to community service and youth empowerment. She has also been actively involved in promoting environmental conservation and sustainability through various initiatives and trainings, which strengthened her dedication to protecting the environment. These experiences, combined with her passion for youth leadership, have positioned her as a changemaker who strives to build resilient and empowered communities.

Rose Mary is proud to contribute to the success of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), mainly through promoting education, environmental sustainability and community resilience. She is very excited to embark on this journey of service as a CorpsAfrica/Rwanda Volunteer, where she will work closely with underprivileged communities, discover new cultures and continue making a positive impact.
