Biography
Teta Gislaine holds a Bachelor Degree in Arts and Creative Industry from the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus. Throughout her journey, she has cultivated a strong passion for connecting with people, learning from diverse experiences, and building meaningful relationships through community engagement.
Driven by her belief in the power of service, Gislaine has been actively involved in volunteerism, where she continues to find purpose in supporting and uplifting others. She began her volunteer journey with Uwezo Youth Empowerment, an experience that sparked her commitment to inclusive development. She later served as a Digital Champion and Business Coach, roles that allowed her to mentor youth, promote digital literacy, and support small business growth.
Gislaine is also a Disability Inclusion Facilitator, deeply committed to advocating for the rights and empowerment of persons with disabilities. She is particularly passionate about creating spaces where young people with disabilities are seen, heard, and given equal opportunities to thrive.
Curious by nature and driven by a desire for growth, she enjoys meeting new people, gaining new skills, and immersing herself in different perspectives. Her dedication to building inclusive communities reflects her deep conviction that true impact is achieved when no one is left behind.
