Biography

Joyeuse Tuyisenge is a Rwandan raised in rural area in eastern province; she holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. She is an administrative professional with a background in technical operations, education and community development. Her experience spans coordinating solar maintenance at ENGIE Energy Access Rwanda, managing school data systems at Saint Antoine secondary school and currently serving as a Corps Africa Volunteer in Rwanda, applying Human centered design and Asset Based Community-led development approaches to empower rural communities in Gisagara District. She is passionate about social enterprises and thrives on problem solving, collaboration and driving sustainable impact that improves livelihood in rural communities.
