Biography

Alice Taatiere Dery is a dedicated development practitioner committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through education, community empowerment, and inclusive development. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Administration in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Religion and Human Values from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. Her MPhil research focused on coping strategies of students with disabilities.

She has enhanced her professional profile with certifications in Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals in Business Intelligence and the Global Leadership Program from the University at Buffalo, New York, where she also serves as a mentor. Her career spans academia, administration, consulting, and community development. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant at the College of Distance Education, University of Cape Coast, interned at Perez University College, and served as an Assistant English Teacher at Jirapa Senior High School. She has also contributed as a Junior Consultant and worked as an Enumerator for the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project under the Ministry of Education with World Bank support.

Alice completed a ten-month CorpsAfrica service in Tolon District, Northern Ghana, where she collaborated with women on income generating skills training and led a community driven catfish farming initiative. She is currently serving as an Exchange Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Rwanda.

Alice is passionate about social impact, leadership development, and community driven change. She enjoys traveling, singing, dancing, and building meaningful connections.
