Biography

Aïcha Koné is a young leader and committed Volunteer passionate about community development and the empowerment of local populations in Côte d’Ivoire. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and actively participates in initiatives that strengthen civic engagement, education, and youth involvement in sustainable development.

Deeply engaged in associative and community work, she serves as Coordinator of Club EMi in Yamoussoukro, an initiative dedicated to Media and Information Literacy (EMI), promoting responsible digital use and combating misinformation at the local level.

Aïcha has also contributed to U-Report Côte d’Ivoire, supporting youth engagement, community mobilization, and impact-focused communication at both national and local levels. These experiences have strengthened her skills in community sensitization, collaborative work, and communication for social impact.

Committed to the Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), she leads awareness, advocacy, and community mobilization efforts, particularly for youth and women. She is certified in women’s rights by the CNDH Human Rights University, reinforcing her commitment to equality and social justice.

An entrepreneur, Aïcha is the founder of All Délices, a brand producing and selling chips made from local Ivorian products such as yam, sweet potato, and banana, supporting local agriculture and entrepreneurship.

Through her work, Aïcha promotes inclusive, community-led, and sustainable solutions, grounded in listening, participation, and collective action.
