Biography

Boune Fatoumata Sira, 23, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Law from the International University of Yamoussoukro. She is currently serving as a Volunteer with CorpsAfrica/Côte d’Ivoire in the village of Dolouroukaha, in Napié (Korhogo).

She is passionate about community development and youth empowerment. With skills in public speaking, project management, teamwork, and youth mobilization, she is committed to supporting her host community in its development process.

In Dolouroukaha, she has led integration activities to better understand daily community life, including participation in farming activities, family visits, and dialogue sessions with young girls and boys. She has also facilitated discussions on local challenges and development opportunities.

She is an engaged volunteer in environmental protection and has collaborated with organizations such as Green Coast Côte d’Ivoire, AfriYouthHub, and U-Report Yamoussoukro. Through these experiences, she has contributed to initiatives including support for children living with sickle cell disease, assistance to vulnerable families, community awareness activities on healthy social relations, and human rights sensitization during electoral periods in collaboration with the Ivorian League for Human Rights.

She has also held leadership positions, notably as President of the Organizing Committee of Green Camp 2 in Man, which brought together 150 young people for sustainable development actions. She served as Project Manager at AfriYouthHub, an organization dedicated to African youth empowerment. Currently, she is Côte d’Ivoire’s focal point within the Network of African Youth Organizations for Reproductive Health and Family Planning, collaborating with young leaders across Africa to share knowledge and opportunities.

She has received training in media and information literacy through the S4EMI program supported by GIZ and participated in the DESINFOX JEUNESSE initiative with Polaris Association. These experiences strengthened her skills in information verification and responsible digital engagement.

She is convinced that her experience and competencies will enable her to make a positive impact in Dolouroukaha and contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of the community.
