Biography
Yohanis Girma Sufie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Debre Markos University. During his time at university, he actively supported persons with disabilities (PWDs) in various academic and social activities, demonstrating his commitment to inclusion, empathy, and community service. His academic background provided him with a strong foundation in management principles, organization, and administrative systems. He is passionate about community development and volunteerism, and values transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning.
He began his professional journey as an intern at the Bank of Abyssinia, where he developed foundational skills in office administration, customer service, and record management. He later joined CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia as an Administrative and Logistics Assistant, where he built strong experience in administrative and logistics support, contributing to program operations and coordination.
Currently, Yohanis serves as a Program and Logistics Assistant at CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia in Addis Ababa. In this role, he manages travel, accommodation, and transport arrangements, coordinates site visits, and supports training, workshops, events, and volunteer operations. He also contributes to procurement processes, documentation, and inventory tracking, working closely with program and finance teams to ensure accurate records and compliance with organizational and donor requirements. Through this progression, he has developed solid experience in program and logistics coordination and is known for his strong organizational skills, teamwork, and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
