Biography

Dinisse SYLVA holds a Master’s degree in Community and Local Development, with a concentration in Program and Project Management, from the African Institute for Local Development in Thiès, and a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Catholic University of West Africa (UCAO). These two professional degrees provide her with a broad perspective on social and economic projects, along with strong project proposal writing skills.

With an early interest in community service, Dinisse has over 15 years of experience in community organizations, having held leadership roles (in the parish and at the university) and worked directly with young people.

He began her career with the Casamance Development Support Project as a monitoring and evaluation intern in 2013, then as a sales representative at Alliance ASSURANCE’s Ziguinchor office in 2014–2015, before joining CorpsAfrica/Senegal as a volunteer in 2016.

After completing his volunteer service, Dinisse joined the CorpsAfrica/Senegal staff in 2017. He has held various positions, including project manager, monitoring and evaluation officer, liaison volunteer, and project management trainer.

Since 2024, Dinisse has served as program manager, helping to develop program development strategies and leading teams to achieve assigned objectives. Dinisse is also a consultant and entrepreneur, holding several certifications in youth entrepreneurship, environmental economics and natural resource management, and gender-sensitive policy management. Outside of work, Dinisse is passionate about sports. He excels at soccer and Scrabble.
