Biography

Fuseina Mohammed is a Ghanaian educator and youth development practitioner whose work has been shaped by a belief that every young person has the potential to thrive when given the right opportunity and support. Her experience spans education, youth empowerment, teacher development, community service, and entrepreneurship.

Her commitment to youth development began through CAMFED, where she served as a Learner Guide and Model Leader, supporting young people through life-skills education, entrepreneurship, communication, and girls’ education advocacy. She later joined Lead For Ghana, mentoring students and supporting learning, leadership, digital skills, and well-being. As a GES Associate through T-TEL, she supported teacher development and school improvement, conducting 30 classroom observations, facilitating 32 PLC sessions, and supporting 70 teachers.

She is also the founder of Young Emotions, an initiative focused on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, confidence, and healthy relationships among young people. As a CorpsAfrica Ghana Volunteer, Fuseina is bringing these experiences into community development while learning to listen first, ask questions, and understand people’s realities before deciding what they need.
