Maajida Timbobli Mohammed
Volunteer
Biography

Maajida Timbobli Mohammed studied Sociology and Philosophy at the University of Ghana, where she developed an interest in people, communities, and the experiences that shape their lives. Her studies sparked a desire to understand the challenges people face and to be part of efforts that create meaningful change.

She completed her national service with GACL, where she gained experience in communication, teamwork, and serving others in a professional environment. Outside of work and academics, Maajida enjoys reading, which allows her to discover new ideas and perspectives, and baking, which gives her a chance to be creative and try new things.

Her desire to learn from communities and contribute to meaningful change inspired her to become a CorpsAfrica Volunteer. She sees the experience as an opportunity to listen, learn, build genuine relationships, and work alongside community members to identify solutions that reflect their needs in the community.

For Maajida, CorpsAfrica is an opportunity to serve with purpose, discover new strengths, and build connections.
