She fulfilled her mandatory National Service at the 37 Military Hospital in 2024 and joined CorpsAfrica in 2025, eager to contribute to community development while continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

As a former beneficiary of CAMFED and the Mastercard Foundation during her Senior High School years, Mariam is deeply committed to giving back to society. Her experience strengthened her passion for community work and deepened her appreciation for locally driven and sustainable development. Following the completion of her first service, Mariam accepted an extension to join the next Cohort G5 in 2026/2027, motivated by her dedication to community development and desire to continue serving and learning through CorpsAfrica.

In her free time, Mariam enjoys sewing, travelling, exploring new cultures, foods, and languages, and gaining new experiences.
