Biography
Eden is a young humanitarian whose journey is defined by courage, service, and a deep sense of purpose. Born and raised in Ethiopia, she grew up believing that life should be about more than simply earning a living. Guided by this belief, she chose a path centered on public service and humanitarian work.
In 2025, Eden completed her undergraduate degree in Management at Debre Berhan University. A year later, she joined CorpsAfrica as a Volunteer, beginning one of the most transformative experiences of her life. Stepping into an unfamiliar environment and preparing to serve a community far from what she knew challenged her in new ways. Yet, during her Pre-Service Training, Eden realized that she was not afraid. She understood that while the journey would not always be easy, she could face whatever challenges came her way.
Eden believes that even the smallest difference made in someone’s life can make the journey worthwhile. To her, humanitarian work is not only about projects, targets, or programs—it is about people. It means listening before speaking, understanding before judging, and recognizing that meaningful change must be built with communities.
Her journey has taught her that purpose is often built gradually through experiences, challenges, and moments of reflection. As she continues serving with CorpsAfrica, Eden hopes to grow into someone whose presence makes others feel heard, valued, and respected. With courage guiding her and service at the heart of her journey, she continues to learn, grow, and make a difference, however small.
