Biography

Rosemond Alangde Awinpoka is a passionate and dedicated Nutritionist from Bongo in the Upper East Region of Ghana. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Nutrition from the University for Development Studies and is a registered and licensed member of the Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana.

Rosemond gained valuable professional experience during her National Service and volunteering work at the Tamale Teaching Hospital, where she supported the management of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases. She also volunteered with Operation Smile Ghana, providing nutrition care to children before and after cleft lip and palate surgeries.

She is a CorpsAfrica/Ghana alumna currently re-serving as a Volunteer with Cohort 5. Rosemond is also the Secretary of the Bongo Youth Network, where she contributes to youth development and community initiatives.

Through her work, she is passionate about community-led development, nutrition, health education, and empowering communities to identify and address their own needs.
