Biography

Born on May 9, 2002, in Yifag, South Gondar, Eyualem Sisay grew up in a family that taught him the value of resilience, faith, and looking out for others. Inspired by his parents, he began organizing youth activities and bringing people together around shared goals from an early age. These experiences shaped his belief that meaningful progress is rarely achieved alone.

Eyualem pursued his education in Yifag and Addis Zemen before joining Gamby Medical and Business College in Bahir Dar, where he studied Accounting and Finance. He graduated in March 2026 with a 3.86 GPA. While his academic journey strengthened his financial knowledge, his involvement in charity initiatives, church associations, and community sports clubs taught him lessons that could not be learned in a classroom—empathy, teamwork, and the importance of contributing to something larger than oneself.

Eyualem carries this perspective into his work and service. He believes that true success comes from moving from an “I” mindset to an “us” mindset. For him, financial knowledge is not only about numbers and reports; it can also be a tool for helping organizations and communities make better decisions and create opportunities.

Today, Eyualem is interested in developing ways to make financial knowledge more accessible to community organizations and individuals. Through his journey, he hopes to combine his financial skills with his commitment to service and contribute to communities where people have the knowledge and confidence to build a more sustainable future.
