Biography

Samuel Njuguna Wanjiru is a CorpsAfrica/Ethiopia Exchange Volunteer from Kenya, passionate about education, youth empowerment, and grassroots development. He has taught Mathematics and Geography at Kiriene Mixed Day and Girls Boarding School, where he has honed skills in curriculum design, classroom management, and mentorship.

Samuel began his volunteer journey with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, supporting projects in mental health awareness, foundational learning, and sustainable community initiatives. His current exchange role in Ethiopia reflects his commitment to cross-cultural collaboration and participatory development, working alongside communities to design and implement locally driven solutions.

He is also a member of the Kiriene Community-Based Organization (CBO) leadership team, where he has championed the revival of the Kiriene Poultry Project to strengthen agribusiness and improve livelihoods. Dedicated to continuous learning, Samuel is pursuing proficiency in Amharic to deepen his engagement with Ethiopian communities.

Through his teaching, leadership, and volunteer service, Samuel embodies CorpsAfrica’s mission of empowering young Africans to drive change from within their communities.
