Biography
Henok Eshete Banteywalu was born on January 23, 1999, in Butajira, Gurage, Ethiopia. Completing his primary and secondary education at different schools helped him become adaptable and disciplined, while learning to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
After high school, Henok joined Debre Markos University, where he studied Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Control Engineering. His university years strengthened his problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills and taught him to approach challenges with confidence and responsibility.
Following graduation, Henok gained professional experience in welding and installation. Through this work, he developed practical technical skills, precision, creativity, and an appreciation for delivering quality results.
Beyond his professional life, Henok enjoys sports, especially football, which he values for bringing people together and encouraging teamwork and discipline. He also enjoys going to the gym and swimming, activities that help him stay active and focused.
Henok is committed to personal growth, community engagement, and contributing to society. He believes in collaboration, listening to people, and supporting locally led solutions that respond to community needs. Looking ahead, he hopes to build on his technical background to empower communities, expand opportunities for young people, and contribute to Ethiopia’s sustainable development.
