Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Fall
HCD Program Manager
Biography

Cheikh is a strategic designer and passionate changemaker, dedicated to youth development, reducing inequality, and grassroots empowerment across Africa. Convinced that human beings must be at the heart of every solution, he places Human-Centered Design at the core of his practice to identify communities’ real needs and transform them into concrete solutions.

His multidisciplinary approach systems thinking, design thinking, and social and behavior change allows him to analyze challenges from multiple angles in order to design solutions that are both tailored to users’ needs and aligned with organizational objectives. This positioning is the result of a deliberately non-linear educational path, chosen to better navigate the challenges of innovation in a VUCA world.

His career has been defined by a systemic, human-centered approach, combining ethnographic research, behavioral analysis, and co-creation to design services and products tailored to users’ needs. He has led qualitative and quantitative research across Africa (Senegal, Benin, Niger, Malawi, Somalia, Kenya) in the health, education, technology, and development sectors. His experience as a Service Designer Associate at ThinkPlace allowed him to conduct in-depth field studies, evaluate solutions, and formulate strategic recommendations to ensure lasting impact.
