Biography

Couro Bass holds a research Master’s degree in Political Science, specialising in International Governance. Her background reflects a strong interest in civic engagement, mental health, community mobilisation, and development.

She has served as an intern and Programme Assistant at OVA Tours and is a member of Taxaw Sunu Askan and OVA. She participated in the IMP’ACT initiative led by OVA and Ashinaga, which engaged young people around mental health and community participation using a Design Thinking approach. She also supported parents benefiting from Ashinaga’s financial assistance programme.

Couro joins CorpsAfrica with the aim of strengthening her community development skills and contributing to solutions developed together with communities.
