Biography
Livingstone is a social worker, creative artist, and community development practitioner with over a decade of experience working with children, families, youth, and other key stakeholders in underserved communities in Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Community Development from the University for Development Studies and a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Delhi.
Most recently, he served as Leadership Growth Manager with Lead For Ghana, where he supported fellows’ leadership development, stakeholder engagement, and program implementation across more than 100 basic and senior high schools.
Before that, he served as a volunteer and later a Volunteer Team Leader with the UK government-funded International Citizenship Service program. In these roles, he led teams of volunteers, supported community engagement activities, worked with farmer groups, and served as the liaison between volunteers and community stakeholders.
He currently serves as a Volunteer Liaison with CorpsAfrica/Ghana, where he supports Volunteers as they prepare to serve and work with communities across Ghana. He joined CorpsAfrica because the organization’s approach to community development resonates with his own experience and belief that communities have valuable knowledge, ideas, and resources that can help shape solutions to the challenges they face.
