Biography

Fatou Binetou Thiam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Sciences and is pursuing a first-year Master’s degree in Education Sciences at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis. Her academic background focuses on education and social issues.

She is a member of UGB’s Mental Health Unit and completed an internship working with autistic children at a preschool facility in Beldo in 2024-2025. She also completed an administrative internship at Lycée Technique André Peytavin in 2025-2026. These experiences have helped her develop skills in social research, teamwork, field surveys, and community mobilisation.

Fatou Binetou joins CorpsAfrica Cohort 10 with the aim of using her skills to serve communities and contributing to initiatives related to education and well-being.
