Biography

Brian is an IT and Community Development professional from Kenya, driven by a passion for using technology and data to strengthen grassroots community initiatives. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, he has built a strong foundation in IT support, monitoring and evaluation, and community engagement. As a holder of the MEAL DPro certification and the Cisco NetAcad/Splunk Cybersecurity Defense Analyst certification, he has gained valuable technical and analytical skills that strengthen his ability to support community-based data collection and digital literacy.

Currently, Brian is furthering his growth as a CorpsAfrica/Kenya Volunteer, deepening his expertise in community-led development. As a CorpsAfrica volunteer, he is committed to the Community-Led Development (CLD) approach, believing in the power of indigenous solutions and community-driven initiatives to address local challenges. Brian’s work is guided by a deep respect for African perspectives and a commitment to co-creating positive change that is owned and led by the communities he serves.
