Biography

Nothando Nokubonga Happiness Makhoba is a Public Management graduate who obtained her National Diploma in Public Management from Elangeni TVET College in 2022. She began her professional journey through in-service training at Qalakabusha Correctional Centre, where she gained practical experience in Supply Chain Management and administration, which strengthened her understanding of public sector operations, communication, stakeholder engagement, record keeping, compliance and effective service delivery.

She also works as a Community Facilitator with Sunshine Cinema and Youth Capital, where she engages directly with young people and communities through community discussions, educational activities, youth engagement, mobilization and facilitation, creating safe spaces where community members can express their views, share experiences and participate in finding solutions to challenges affecting them.

She is passionate about youth development, community empowerment, public service and creating opportunities for meaningful community participation, and believes in a community-led approach to development where communities are actively involved in identifying their needs and developing sustainable solutions using their own strengths and resources.

Nothando is hardworking, adaptable and purpose-driven, committed to continuous learning and professional growth, and hopes to use her knowledge, skills and community experience to contribute positively to organizations and initiatives focused on public service, youth empowerment and sustainable community development.
