Biography
Cynthia Adhiambo is a linguistics and literature professional and an advocate for sustainable livelihoods through community-led development. She has experience in research, having worked with Helen Keller International on maternal and child health research in Kilifi County. She currently volunteers with CorpsAfrica/Kenya, facilitating community-led, small-scale initiatives designed by the communities to create sustainable impact. Through her experience, she has developed skills in research, project design and management, entrepreneurship, and community development. Cynthia envisions an independent Africa where rural and underserved communities leverage their own strengths, knowledge, and resources to build sustainable livelihoods and shape their own development.
