Biography

Cynthia Kilango is a public health professional, researcher, and data scientist with experience in community health, public health research, health data, and community engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with Information Technology from Maseno University.

Her work focuses on the intersection of public health, data science, and community-based approaches, particularly in addressing health challenges in underserved settings. She has experience in maternal health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, nutrition, and neglected tropical diseases.

Cynthia has applied data science and machine learning to public health research, including developing a predictive screening model for anaemia among pregnant women. She has also presented research on machine learning and community-based One Health risk prediction at scientific conferences.

She is particularly interested in epidemiology, health data science, artificial intelligence, and evidence-based public health interventions that translate research into practical solutions for communities.
