Biography

Rubia Irene Kavugwi is a Social Work and Community Development proffesional and Community Health Worker with a qualification in Diploma in Social Work & Community Development with Community Health from the Kenya School of Medical Science and Technology. Experienced in field research, data collection, and community outreach, she is passionate about youth and women empowerment, as well as advocating for persons with disabilities by connecting them with essential organizational resources. She leverages Community-Led Development (CLD), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and Human-Centered Design (HCD) frameworks to build sustainable, community-driven solutions.
