Biography

Ethel Sakwata is a graduate of Journalism and Mass Communication from Pentecostal Life University. She is passionate about working with people and using communication to create awareness and bring positive change in communities. She has experience working with Timveni Child and Youth Media Organization, which focuses on working with young people and women. Through this experience, she developed an interest in community engagement and supporting young people to improve their lives.

Ethel is a friendly and open-minded person who enjoys meeting new people, listening to different perspectives, and learning from others. She is interested in joining CorpsAfrica because she wants to gain practical experience in community development, learn directly from communities, and contribute her skills and ideas to community-led initiatives.

Outside of her professional interests, Ethel enjoys sewing by hand and cooking. She sees volunteering as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally while making a meaningful contribution to the community.
