Cherif Khoury, a young Senegalese photographer and videographer, is from the region of Saint-Louis, in northern Senegal. Cherif joined CorpsAfrica/Senegal as an office intern in 2017 before discovering his passion for photography. His work as a photographer and videographer consists of capturing the highlights of the community immersion and activities of CorpsAfrica/Senegal Volunteers within their different host communities. Cherif also participates in the various training sessions for CorpsAfrica/Senegal Volunteers with whom he shares photography techniques to better immortalize their community life and capture their impact. His portfolio with CorpsAfrica/Senegal has nearly 30 videos and several dozen photo albums. He is part of the different communication strategies developed by the CorpsAfrica/Senegal office. Nominated by the 35 International Photography Awards among the 10 best photographers of Senegal in 2019, he also won a second prize with the Wikipedia Wiki Loves Africa competition at the Goethe Institute Dakar as second best photographer, the same year. Cherif also received the Best Instagram Photo Award 2019, in a competition organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Senegal.
