Meet the Third Group of CorpsAfrica Volunteers in Senegal
Francis Dieudonné Bidiar is from the region of Kedougou where he did all his schooling. He graduated in 2010 with a degree in history at UCAD. Then he studied Management of Local Development and Social Engineering at Alioune Diop University of Bambey / Dakar Resource Center. This training made him love community development where, through his involvement in several associations, he participated in several awareness activities in Bassari country (ethiolo, salemata) on school dropout and citizen participation. He is happy to join the big family of CorpsAfrica.

Diarra DIA is a PhD student in Political Science at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. She was also, for some years, responsible for research in Gender and Human Security in a local NGO called MALAO / Senegal. She coordinated activities related to the rights of women and children on issues related to Security, understood in a broad sense. The fight against the proliferation and illicit circulation of Small Arms and Light Weapons remains a daily commitment as well as the issue of women's empowerment. She participated in several awareness-raising activities on women's rights and armed violence issues throughout Senegal. She was also administrative secretary in an association, 2ADS (Association of Support to Social Development) whose headquarters are in Guédiawaye. A structure that works for the socio-educational accompaniment of young people from the suburbs, education in environmental culture. Citizen engagement for her community is her creed.

Abdoulaye Bademba Diallo is from Yeumbeul and is 30 years old. He is from the Kolda Region. He was a community development officer at the same time a food security technician, livelihoods, cash transfer program at the Senegalese Red Cross and he participated in several programs and projects with the the most recent red cross and the program of construction and rehabilitation of matron flooded areas.

Adji Anta Gaye Diop is a native of Koungheul in the Kaffrine Region. She is Métis (Mandingo and Saloum-Saloum) and was a student in L3 of philosophy at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. She did her elementary and secondary studies in Tambacounda. From there she learned a lot from the different communities, and that's partly what pushed her to integrate youth associations and organizations. To that end, she had the chance to be part of several community campaigns through an association called the National Youth Alliance for Reproductive Health and Family Planning, in the gender office. She was also an investigator and advocate for the Amplify Change Project (USAID). She also had the chance to participate in the national youth rally in Kolda for the abandonment of excision (Girl Generation) and also to the national caravan for the promotion of healthy behaviors among adolescents and young people with ADEMAS. On the university and union side, she was President of the Women's Commission of the Union of Students and Students of Tambacounda two years in a row. And was also President of the Pedagogical Commission of the same structure and was a member of the National Philosophy Club.

Issa Fall holds a degree in Communication from Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis. He lived in Saint-Louis, particularly in the Walo. During his university studies, he was involved in several activities aimed at improving his communication skills. He is a farmer, like any inhabitant of Walo (Northern Senegal). Like any adventurer, he is very happy to be part of the CorpsAfrica/Senegal project to serve his country.

Anna Coumba Faye is from the Sine, the Region of Fatick where she did all her schooling. After the baccalaureate, she attended the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar in the Department of Geography. She has a Master II in Health Geography since 2015. It was after that that she joined the National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ANSD) as supervisor of the national research on employment in Senegal. At the same time, she worked with local NGOs like World Vision and Save the Children Fatick as a facilitator in areas related to the environment and health in general. She is very honored to be part of Group 3 of CorpsAfrica/Senegal.

Khady Mbaye is a native of Dakar-Plateau. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Law International Relations option and a Master2 professional in Studies and Practices of International Relations at the University Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar. In 2015, she made her first professional experiences at SMS Senegal as a company lawyer, then between 2016-2017, she joined, as trainee, the ECOWAS National Unit that became the ECOWAS National Office. For a year, she started in the community law consultancy, and has to my credit a dozen articles on community law and regional integration in Africa. Likewise, she often acts as rapporteurs in workshops and seminars focused on regional integration.

Gass Ndiaye is from Pikine, Dakar. She holds a degree in economics and management from UCAD and a diploma in Master 2 Rural Economics.
As a professional experience, she did an internship at the Keur Samba Kane community farm in the Program of Community Agricultural Domains (PRODAC) in sheep, beef, poultry farming and winter activities. She worked as a management assistant in a local school. She likes the rural world, which is the reason for her presence in this group. Nice to be part of the CorpsAfrica Volunteer family. |
Mansour Ndiaye was born in Joal Fadhiouth where he completed his primary school and then came to Dakar for high school. After graduating in 2013, he joined the ESEA ex ENEA in 2015 for studies in community development, and in 2017 he received his license. He considers himself a social entrepreneur because since high school he has joined many associations to provide solutions to problems that affect his community. Currently, he is am doing an internship at the medical region of Louga in the office nutrition and child survival.

Justine Awa Ndaw Sambou is from Oussouye department of Ziguinchor region. She did her school curriculum in a village called mlomp casa. After the baccalaureate, she was directed to Assane Seck University of Zguinchor in the Department of Applied Foreign Languages where she received her bac +2. She is also a volunteer at the YMCA Ziguinchor where she was the vice-secretary of the branch. She also participated in a program of the non-International Citizen Service where she was Team Leader of three cohorts composed of volunteers English and Senegalese. This program was funded by the English government and led by the NGO YMCA SENEGAL.

Christine Kiné SARR is a training manager, now a member of gender and female leadership in the African Youth and Adolescent Network (AFRIYAN / Girls), and also responsible for gender-based violence, empowerment of the girl. and questions about the menstrual cycle in the Youth Ambassadors Alliance for Reproductive Health and Family Planning. She is also a founder of the Network of Young Leaders for the Promotion of the Rights of Adolescents and Youth based in Casamance.

ALIOU SENE is from the region of DIOURBEL. He is passionate about volunteering and humanitarian issues. It was at DIOURBEL that he did all his school studies until he graduated from L2 in 2010, when he joined the Geography Department of the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar. Geography and computer science are the two disciplines to which he directed his studies. Thus, after a Bachelor's degree in human geography at UCAD, he obtained a professional degree in Geomatics at SCHOOL OF DEVELOPMENT (EDD) in 2017. The training courses in computer science allowed him to have certified skills in office computing, computer graphics, multimedia, survey and data processing in addition to those acquired in geographic information system (GIS) and cartography. Between 2012 and 2014, he participated in surveys, studies and mapping work on behalf of NGOs and consulting firms. In the drawing to continue my dream, in 2015, as a volunteer, he joined the association Saafara Hepatitis Senegal to support the dissemination of information on hepatitis in Senegal via NICT. Since 2017, he worked freelance in the field of community manager. Beyond humanitarian, he is interested in issues of local development, geopolitics, security and conflict resolution. Literature is part of his passions and he is doing well in writing.

Born in the rural community of Sadio in the center-west of the country, particularly in the Mbackè department of the Diourbel region, Magatte Sokhna is a girl who is very passionate about everything related to science and community development. She was born and raised in rural areas, the daughter of a large farming family. She graduated in July 2010 with a university degree at the Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique in Dakar where she obtained her first degree in Computer Science in 2012-2013. Then she was selected to do the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the Applied Science and Technology Training and Research Unit (UFR SAT) at Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis (2013-2014). Outside the computer, she likes to go to work in the fields to accompany the family during the holidays because she would say that "to cultivate" has always been a hobby since her childhood and she will never stop doing it. Apart from that, she did a lot of internships as a superior technician in computer science, web development, software engineering, networks and system within some companies like the CRENT (Center for Digital Environmental Work Resources) UCAD located at the ESP / Dakar, Futures Technologies located at Yoff-Diamalaye, at the Ousmane Seck Computing Center of the UGB (CCOS). She is a member of several associations like the Union of Students and Students of Sadio, Women Entrepreneurs.

Mame Samba Sow is a technician in organic agriculture. He lives in Dakar / Pikine / Keur Massar. He is a member at the level of the Association of Girl Scouts and Scouts of Senegal as well as supervisor of youth of the local group Massar Diéye. Student in IT (maintenance) at ESCOM General Manager of the agency.
