Green Initiative

What is the CorpsAfrica Green Initiative?

The CorpsAfrica Green Initiative positions CorpsAfrica Volunteers as part of the solution to environmental problems in Africa and beyond.  This low-cost initiative focuses on environment-related training so that Volunteers recognize and address climate change issues in their host communities from a scientific perspective.

By living in rural communities, Volunteers can serve as a resource to the community for broader local climate action; they will liaise with development partners to test environmental innovations and bring back critical information on how their local communities are affected by and adapting to climate change, and lessons learned.
