African communities. African volunteers. Lasting impact.

Support
CorpsAfrica is a non-profit organization that recruits and places ambitious young Africans in remote, high-poverty communities in their own countries to facilitate small-scale, high-impact projects that are identified by local people, fulfill key needs, and whose impact and success can be carefully measured, all through a transformative volunteer experience.  Read more here.

"When I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, amazing young Moroccans used to ask me if they could do what I was doing - they'd say, 'I'm Moroccan, I want to help my country, can I be a Peace Corps Volunteer?' and I had to say, 'Sorry, it's only for Americans.' I started CorpsAfrica so they could have the same opportunity I did to learn, grow, and make an impact."
– Liz Fanning, Founder and Executive Director of CorpsAfrica
"As Africans we tend to wait for other volunteers such as Americans, Europeans, and Asians to help with our community, but thanks to CorpsAfrica, with this opportunity, I realized between Africans we should be helping each other. We can do it."
– Abdelkader Kadfii, a Moroccan CorpsAfrica Volunteer serving in Senegal
Liz Fanning toasts CorpsAfrica's 10th anniversary in this short video with pictures of the Volunteers through the years. We launched CorpsAfrica on the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps to pass along the baton to deserving and ambitious young Africans who are eager to serve in their own countries. March, 1 2021 (6:50)
CorpsAfrica hosted a virtual event to raise support for the Volunteer's small-scale, high-impact projects that build resilient communities. This film stars the CorpsAfrica Volunteers in Morocco, Senegal, Malawi and Rwanda, and also Board members and staff. September 2020 (51:10)

"I am proud of how much I have grown and changed. I am now a more complete human being having living and interacted with people who are less fortunate than me. I am more appreciative of what I have and I have had a spirit of giving back instilled in me. CorpsAfrica has changed my life for the better."
